Purwakarta Regency Employment Profile Results of Sakernas August 2021

The publication "Condition of the Purwakarta Regency Labor Force August 2021" presents a general overview of employment among the population aged 15 years and over in the Purwakarta Regency area. This annual publication uses data sourced from the results of the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) in August 2021. The sample size for this survey is 760 households and is considered sufficient for estimating data up to the district level.In 2021, the dependency rate in Purwakarta Regency will decrease compared to previous years, namely 44.00%, which means that for every 1,000 people of productive age in Purwakarta Regency there are around 440 people who are not yet productive or are no longer productive. In other words, for every 44 young people (0-14 years) or elderly (65 years and over) there are around 100 people of productive age. This large human capital will have great potential if followed by a high level of productivity because it can encourage economic growth in Purwakarta Regency.
